The client is a U.S.-based coffee distribution company that specializes in supplying premium coffee products to retail and food service businesses. They aim to help partner brands and retailers grow by providing direct-store distribution, in-store support, and operational services. In addition to product delivery, the organization supports merchandising, inventory assessment, and more to ensure consistent product availability and brand presence across multiple locations.

Challenges Faced by the Client

The client requires a flexible and scalable way to centralize data spread across multiple SaaS applications into a single, unified data platform. With critical operational and financial data residing in systems such as Cin7 Inventory, Deputy, Airtable, Geotab, OptimoRoute, and QuickBooks, reporting was fragmented, and insights were difficult to generate. The lack of a centralized analytics foundation limited visibility across the organization and made it challenging to derive timely, data-driven decisions. The client sought a modern data platform that could unify these disparate sources while supporting scalable analytics and reporting.

Kasmo designed and implemented a unified data platform using Snowflake to serve as the organization’s single source of truth. Our team enabled a scalable, low-code data integration framework that enabled seamless SaaS ingestion into the Snowflake Data Cloud.

  • Implemented Kasmo’s Data Load Accelerator (DLA) to enable data ingestion and standardized pipeline development.
  • Designed a data foundation layer aligned to the Snowflake Bronze layer, ingesting raw data without transformations to preserve source-level integrity.
